Volunteer Training Sessions

Details: Join us for our monthly training session to learn more about Lutheran Hospice and our volunteer program. Coming by our office does not mean you have to sign up on the spot, but it is a good start to learning more about what our agency AND volunteers do for our patients. Midlands Office Grief and Loss Support Group
Date: January 9, 23; February 6, 20 ; March 5, 19

Details: The small support group is for adults who have experienced a death of a loved one and want to share their experience with other bereaved persons. Through the Valley Bereavement Support Group
Date: beginning Tuesday, September 13 (meets for 10 weeks)

Details: The target audience of this support group is adults who have suffered an adult loss, including a spouse, a parent, or a grown son or daughter. Details: Lutheran Hospice will be presenting a Five Wishes Program to help participants know how to express their personal, emotional and spiritual desires as well as their medical wishes if they become seriously ill and cannot speak for themselves. Five Wishes discusses:
·Who you want to make health care decisions for you when you can't make them.
·The kind of medical treatment you want or don't want.
·How comfortable you want to be.
·How you want people to treat you.
·What you want your loved ones to know

BeWell Health and Wellness Fair
